Charles Badenoch took up the position of Partnership Leader Advocacy & Justice for Children for World Vision International in May 2009. Charles joined World Vision as Chief Executive of World Vision UK in October 2003 following an extensive commercial career. He is passionate about increasing World Vision’s emphasis on advocacy and justice for children, both in the public policy arena and in changing hearts and minds of the public in the fight against global poverty.  Charles makes regular visits to the field to learn about the hopes and challenges facing the most vulnerable children, their families and communities. He wants advocacy to amplify World Vision’s relief and development work so that a sustainable impact is made on improving the well being of children particularly in the areas of improved child health and a reduction in the exploitation of children. Charles is also very focused in ensuring the voices of children are heard and acted upon in the Post 2015 process.
