President, Atitude

Celso Grecco is president of Atitude, one of the first corporate social responsibility and social marketing agencies in Brazil. He graduated in Communications and Marketing, with a large experience in advertising; he spent 2 years in UK (1986-1988) working in the promotional and direct marketing fields. In Brazil, in 1989, he started his own business in promotions and advertising and in 2000 he founded Atitude, an agency dedicated to build strategic corporate responsibility programs and projects in the corporate social responsibility field.   In 2003 he created for his client Bovespa, Brazil’s Stock Exchange, the Social Stock Exchange, recognized by UNESCO as unique, adopted by the UN Global Compact Office as a study case and a model to be recommended to other stock exchanges in the world. Celso is also the founder and past president of Aldeia do Futuro, a NGO recognized as one of the Best Social Technologies in Sao Paulo , Brazil, and a member of the board of several NGOs.

Towards A Social Stock Exchange

Experiments with one investment approach or another are good. But we will need new processes of exchange if their use is to grow and lever significant new resources for social change. Different models of social stock exchange offer one such mechanism – but how could they work?
