Kristin is responsible for growing and supporting Mulago's exemplary portfolio of social investments – grants, debt and equity – in high impact organizations with a scalable model to meet the basic needs of the poor. Previously, she was a Principal at the Skoll Foundation, where she worked with social entrepreneurs, and Program Finance Officer at the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation, where she focused on environmental conservation. Before embracing philanthropy, Kristin's experience spanned the private, public and nonprofit sectors — no surprise coming from someone who moved from english major to investment banking to the Peace Corps. She has worked across geographies with a broad array of organizations on issues as varied as coconut farming in the Philippines to immigrant job placement in New York City to cattle ranching in Brazil. Kristin received her AB in English from Harvard University and her MPA, with a focus an international development, from NYU.
