Harvey Koh is a Director with Monitor Deloitte India where he co-leads the Monitor Inclusive Markets (MIM) unit dedicated to harnessing business models to serve the poor. Harvey has directed projects across MIM’s housing and water programmes. Harvey was the lead author of MIM’s 2012 publication, From Blueprint to Scale, which described the problem of the pioneer gap in support for early-stage inclusive business models. Harvey is now leading research into how to accelerate inclusive business industries to scale.

Harvey was founding head of programmes at Private Equity Foundation, a venture philanthropy fund established in London by leading PE firms to tackle the problem of youth unemployment. Previously, Harvey had worked with The One Foundation and New Philanthropy Capital. Harvey began his career with Monitor in London where he focused on competitive and growth strategy for corporate clients.

Harvey was born and raised in Malaysia, and educated at Cambridge University.
